Sammys on the Marina recently played host to over fifteen restaurant owners and winemakers from across the globe at an intimate culinary evening showcasing SA’s finest local seafood and wines.
Amongst the high-profile guest list was Chef Outta Water’s Chef Chris Holen from the United States of America, Chef Xu from China, along with fifteen highly successful business men and women in the hospitality and winemaking industries from China, Australia and New Zealand.
The Adelaide Insider was invited to cover the exclusive culinary evening whilst wining and dining with the Chef Outta Water team and a delegation of Chinese Chefs from the Changshu Culinary Association.
Bringing together passion and expertise from around the globe, Chef Outta Water is an international consortium that collaborates on multi-experiential cultural food and tourism experiences. Hosted by Chef Chris Holen and friends, Chef Outta Water operates a broad variety of food-themed travel, events and shows ranging from degustation dinners to chef exchanges.
World-renowned Chinese Chef Xu was treated to some of South Australia’s finest local seafood prepared by none other than Sammy’s on the Marina’s talented Chef Paul. Crayfish, lobster mornay and oysters galore were accompanied by local South Australian wines from Seppeltsfield Winery in the Barossa Valley.
