Bottomless pizza parties are all the rage right now, and it’s no wonder why – who can refuse unlimited helpings of their favourite carb-filled slices of triangle-shaped perfection?
In celebration of their fourth birthday, Crust Pizza in West Lakes recently held their first ever All You Can Eat Pizza Party, reeling in pizza lovers from near and far to pack a full house.
Served freshly baked and straight out of the oven, guests were treated to unlimited pizzas across two allocated sessions: one for the early eaters at 6pm and another for the late-night snackers at 8pm.
Nothing goes better with carbs than an alcoholic beverage (or two!), and what better way to celebrate a pizza-themed anniversary than with happy hour all night long! From 4pm – 10pm, all beers, house wines, pints and ciders were a mere $5 – meaning more bang for your buck!
As if satisfying our senses of taste, smell and sight wasn’t enough, guests were also treated to a symphony of sound with a live set by talented local musician Sasha Burdakova, who delivered acoustic beats to set a chill, cozy tone for the evening.
Served in all-inclusive, three-course style, guests were first treated to one of Crust Pizza’s signature starters – the classic old faithful that is garlic bread.
Then came the pièce de résistance: unlimited, bottomless, all-you-can eat pizza perfection. Times like these call for the “go big or go home” mantra, and boy did we sure live up to the life motto! Like the legends they are, Crust Pizza West Lakes went above and beyond to look after the crowd, offering plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options to cater for everyone’s dietary and lifestyle needs.
To satisfy everyone’s tastebuds and try as many flavours/toppings in one sitting as possible, we went half-and-half on each pizza.
The cherry on top of the evening came in the form of our last course, which consisted of Crust Pizza’s signature dessert and a crowd favourite: house-cooked Belgian waffles. Dusted with a sprinkling of icing sugar and cut into bite-sized morsels perfect for sharing, guests were given the tough choice of syrup topping: salted caramel, chocolate fudge or pure Canadian maple sauce.
Leaving the store with cheesy pizza-stained grins and bellies full of bottomless pizza, it’s pretty safe to say that one and all had their Friday Fun-Day wishes fulfilled.
Kudos goes to the lovely team at Crust West Lakes for acing their first ever All You Can Eat Pizza Party – may this be the first of many awesome new events to hit West Lakes shores!
