Happy Chinese New Year to one and all, and welcome to the Year of the Pig! February 5th marked the turn of the Chinese New Year, and Adelaide continued the celebrations well into the weekend with their 16th annual Chinatown Adelaide Lunar New Year Street Party!
On Sunday 28 October, Gouger Street was transformed into a Chinese culinary Shangri-La for the Yum Cha Street Party. Hosted by Keito Events, the Yum Cha Street Party consisted of three rows of long tables, each catered by a separate restaurant: Ding Hao, Star house and Kingdom Chinese.
OzAsia Festival kicked off with a bang last night with the launch of the Lucky Dumpling Market along the picturesque Adelaide Riverbank lawns. Showcasing all the finest food, drinks and desserts Asia has to offer, the Lucky Dumpling Market is sure to have something to satisfy everyone's tastebuds.
